Catalogue Description:
Young black man floating among cumulus-like clouds. He is standing in a dramatic pose with his arms raised at his elbows, the fingertips of his hands touching in a praying-like pose. His body is turned ¾, but his head is turned toward viewer. His left leg is bent backwards at the knee. He is dressed in jeans, pink shirt, and white socks. The canvas is arched at top and has a purple ground decorated with a silver and gold fleur de lis pattern.
