Catalogue Description:
Pier table with semi-circular top of painted black wood and three legs of flat chromed steel bands. A single U-shaped band forms the two side legs and bottom stretcher of table. The middle leg consists of a group of three evenly spaced parallel bands set perpendicular to the side legs and bolted to the center of the stretcher. Tabletop is mounted to legs with screws. This semi-circular table is one of pair (with 85.159.4); it can also be used together with its mate to form a single, circular occasional table. CONDITION: Fair; table shows considerable wear, including minor losses, scratches, and stains throughout; bolts are rusted. Significant pitting to many surfaces. Significant wear to top edges which come into contact with top. Chrome-plating significantly worn on many surfaces especially all top and outer surfaces. Masking tape used in packing removed.
