Catalogue Description:
Small brown, originally green, faience figure of a seated sphinx with cat (?) body and human head, used as amulet. Three side-locks on head. Oblong base. Area between front legs and paws cut out. Condition: Glaze badly worn. Some traces of original green glaze. Entire surface very dirty.
