Catalogue Description:
Signed, earthenware bust of a sleeping maiden. Bust of a sleeping maiden (wood nymph?) with eyes closed, lips parted and smiling to show top row of teeth, with short, wavy hair swept to one side with large grape leaves and berries intermingled in hair, the whole on a thick square base with incised signature.
