Catalogue Description:
Plucked idiophone made of wood. Resonating chamber is hollow and has a concave profile to the sides. The bridge on the anterior surface holds eight metal keys. All keys have metal vibrating tubes still attached to them. Two small holes are found on the shorter end of the resonating chamber probably used to accomodate a carrying string. CONDITION: There is one crack at the top with apparantly a native repair (iron staple). Last key on proper right broken. Small impact hole found on posterior side.
