Catalogue Description:
Round, metal and glass "Wafer" wall clock (Model SK 174). Clock face framed with chrome-plated metal strip with wide, curved edge; convex glass cover set within frame. Off-white metal clock face printed with black numbers and time markers (4 thin parallel lines for the hours; single thin, shorter line for minutes). Center decorated with concentric rings of thin black lines. Three metal hands, from bottom to top: hour hand is a large, black triangle with short arm; minute hand is long narrow rectangular black strip that comes to a point; second hand is long, narrower pointed red strip that terminates in a circle at center. Round frame of clock joined to metal backing at side. Back is off-white, low-domed shape with protruding cylinder in center for housing clockworks; triangular cut-out on back of cylinder for hanging clock and round hole on bottom edge of cylinder (for now missing electric cord?). Thin cylindrical piece with round grooved knob for setting clock extends from bottom edge of frame. CONDITION: Fair; light scratching and spotting all-over chromed frame; scratches and paint flecks on back. Frame coming apart from backing along bottom edge.
