Catalogue Description:
Simple electric clock of an unframed, round, polished black glass face with nickel-plated metal accents standing on a low rectangular base. For the hour markers, twelve spherical knobs are set in circle about 1 1/4" from edge of face, attached with screws at back. Three hands: thick rectangular hour hand; longer, thinner minute hand (both silver in color); and very thin, short minute hand painted red. Face is supported above the base by a rectangular strip of metal and attached with screws; base has rounded front edge. Back of glass face is grooved; rectangular black metal plate with protruding cylinder that houses clock works attached to back; one knob for setting clock and the electric cord protrude from this cylinder. CONDITION: Fair; some pock marks and discolorations around edges of metal base; hour and second hand slightly bent; back plate has several large scratches and losses of paint.
