Catalogue Description: Wooden head from a toilet spoon. The head has a long neck which terminates in a tenon once used to connect the head to a nude frontal swimming body. The head is of a female, and the lower edges of the eyes are treated somewhat in the "hazy" manner of some art of the Amarna Period. The female wears a short wig, cut on a diagonal up towards the rear, and a kind of side braid. The locks of the wig are carved as zigzag lines. Condition: Blackened in spots; scratched; tenon incomplete.
