Catalogue Description:
Milk glass covered dish (a) and fitted lid (b), molded into the shape of a battleship. The dish consists of the hull of the boat, with portholes and cannons along sides. The slightly domed lid is the deck of the boat; a molded figure of Uncle Sam with his proper left elbow resting on his knee and hand resting against his cheek sits on the center of the deck between smokestacks and faces towards bow. (This figure serves as a handle to lift the lid.)
