Catalogue Description:
Large fragment of Coptic ‘Samian’ ware probably from a dish. Two stamped monograms of Christ. Register of small fishes within incised border. Good quality ware with a fine grain. A typical specimen. Condition: Edges very slightly chipped and surface slightly worn. Otherwise excellent.
