CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Coffee spoon with plain bowl. Sides of handle gradually flare out to the center and then curve in gently and then out again towards the end that has rounded corners and a curved top. The handle is covered with a dense scrolling design in high relief against a stippled ground. At the mid-point is an asymmetrical heart shaped blank shield intended for initials. The reverse has similar, but much abbreviated decoration. Triumph Pattern. This pattern also produced by: Rogers & Hamilton, Montgomery Ward & Co., and Rogers & Bros. as Monarch; Edwards and William Rogers Manufacturing Co. as Triumph. Scroll by William Rogers Manufacturing, Ionic by A.F. Towle & Son Co., Royal by Gorham, Florentine 11 and 1V by 1847 Rogers Brothers are all similar patterns. Condition: Very good; retains a great deal of luster. Some scratches and light wear on heel of bowl.
