CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION A nut pick whose pointed tip curves upward then flares into a softened ovoid projection that is capped by small symmetrical volutes. The straight sides of the handle continue until interrupted by a small circular projection decorated with a stylized rosette. The handle then flares out into the circular end of the handle that is capped by a small double domed projection. In the circular end against a background of dense narrow horizontal lines is a classical male head in profile. The reverse is undecorated. Roman Medallion pattern. Condition: Good original condition; slight overall scratching due to normal wear.
