CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Undecorated small broad blade, one edge of which is a sweeping outward curve, the opposite end notched and then "S" shaped. The decoration on the first half of the handle is a regularized alternating series of horizontal thin and broad molded bands. The balance of the handle has a symmetrical undulating contour that increases in width and culminates in a rounded crest. This broad flat end of the handle is decorated with a molded scrolling leafy design with an undecorated diagonal reserve intended for initials. The reserve has reduced decoration that included two pairs of symmetrical counter scrolls with a stylized floret in the center. Royal Pattern. Condition: Good. Blade seems to have a satin finish as opposed to the high finish of handle. Overall scratching.
