    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Dinner Plate, Porcelain. White body. Cream ground. Gray / green border to rim edge. Middle rim with continuous band of scallop shells in light pink, light blue, purple and light yellow / green. Inner rim with inscription: "FOR - SUMMER - GALES - AND - KILLER - WHALES - ARE - BAD - FOR - BABY - SEALS - DEAR - RATS - AS - BAD - AS - BAD - CAN - BE - BUT - SPLASHED - ANN - GROW - STRONG - AND - YOU - Cant - GO - WRONG - CHILD - OF - THE - OPEN - SEA". Inner rim with gray / green border. Center plate with seven symmetrically arranged dolphin-like creatures: two pairs in gray / green; one pair light yellow; one single white at bottom. One of a set of twelve dinner plates, all different, with quotes from R. Kipling; see 1990.145.16 - .27. CONDITION - Very good original condition.
