"CUR" at the beginning of an image file name means that the image was created by a curatorial staff member. These study images may be digital point-and-shoot photographs, when we don\'t yet have high-quality studio photography, or they may be scans of older negatives, slides, or photographic prints, providing historical documentation of the object.
CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Bowl is shallow; wood surface is smooth. This bowl is part of a game of dice consisting of a bowl with nine dice, two carved pieces and seven disks. The dice shown in photograph may not be the dice that belong to this particular bowl as several sets of dice have been mixed together in shipping. See 11.694.900.1a-g for dice.
