CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Spoon, silver-plate. Child's spoon with plain bowl. Half of handle with molded leaf design. Narrow transition from bowl then widens slightly to pinched mid-point with narrow band of five dots. Upper half of handle with four symmetrical undulations, round shouldered and very slightly domed crest. Entire area filled with standing 3/4 profile of full-figure young boy in knickers, with long curly hair, holding a sailboat in front, against a stippled ground. Reverse with identical leaf design on lower handle, upper undecorated. Farie Pattern. CONDITION - Good original condition; minor pitting and scratching to bowl and reverse; plate loss to heel of bowl.
