CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Porringer, silver. Shallow bowl with sides curved out from stepped flat bottom and back to everted lip; applied handle pierced with geometric forms to produce interlace. CONDITION: Much wear. Bottom repaired with solder with juncture with one side. Juncture broken through at one place near solder, another place at opposite side of bottom and near front of bowl. Dents to sides of bowl in several places. Rim of bowl cracked on each side of handle, repaired with solder. Tip of handle broken, one place missing, right of center. Scrollwork cracked in two places below handle tip and repaired with patch at one of these cracks on the back. Rim slightly bent out of shape.
