CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Carved wooden ladle with figure. The handle of the ladle is carved in the form of a stylized human figure: the legs and upper torso consist of "V' shapes . The head is an openwork coil, the exterior edge of which is notched. Handle is painted red, white and black. The cup has a zigzag design around the center painted red. Handle is attached to cup by thin twine and pitch. Condition; Paint shows considerable wear; there is a crack on the rim of the cup. White paint on figure very loose and fragile, some areas coming loose.
