CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
Pitcher. Jug in smear glazed buff earthenware (inside glazed). Bun shaped. The base is square shaped. Modeled D-shaped handle, molded and applied. Twisted handle with dolphin at upper juncture. Molded relief scenes on front and back of a foliage pattern on a stippled ground. On the bottom part of the belly on the corners of the square and under the lip is an acanthus leaf.
Condition: Handle broken off; chips on bottom. Large chip near bottom handle juncture.
