    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Pitcher: Porcelain with orange, black, brown and red under a tranparent glaze. Baluster-shaped with a cup-shaped mouth (no spout) on a narrow bottle neck that extends from an ovoid form with a shallow ringed foot. A slender handle with a single crease/ridge connects the neck and shoulder. An undetermined mythological scene with a winged goddess riding in a four horse chariot lead by a female attendant on foot (an Amozon?) holding two torches encircles the vessel, orange and white on black ground. Bordering Greek Key bordering frieze, is outlined in black and colored orange. Good. Some minor chipping and scratches.
