    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Smoking set, glazed earthenware. Molded form. The three dimensional scene, in a 'woodland area', depicts a mountain lion or wolf bringing a dead bird to its cubs. Two tree stumps are depicted outside the den and are hollow for the placement of objects. A shallow area in front of the two cubs could also be present for the same purpose. Overall muted mustard color. Remnants of gilding work suggest item had a large amount of such detailing. Condition: Good overall. Heavy loss of gilding and accumulation of dirt on surface.
