    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Silvered bronze chandelier with inverted dome form flattening toward outer edge where 9 light sockets are mounted, each bulb covered by a small shade. Chandelier suspended from a central silvered bronze shaft and decorative cloth covered wire cord with tassel. Each light socket at edge of inverted dome composed of silver cylinder with scalloped sides with electrical fittings inside. Light bulbs covered by individual small cylindrical shades of pleated off-white fabric over wire frame with brown tufting around bottom edge. In bottom center of inverted dome is a conical silvered bronze finial scalloped similarly to light sockets. In top center interior of dome, emanating from shaft, are 3 additional light sockets not visible when lamp is hung. Attaching to top of shaft is a cloth-covered wire. Attached to wire is a tassel hanging down to cover much of the shaft. Cloth covered wire extends upwards to cloth covered wire flower disguising hooks by which chandelier is hung. Interior of inverted dome painted white. Condition: Good. Silver tarnished and shows finger/hand marks on exterior of dome. One light socket completely detached and several others loose. Fabric covered cord and tassel worn/deteriorated. Some discoloration & staining to cream fabric of shades, on 2 shades fabric has been pushed inwards and ripped.
