    Provenance FAQ
CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Square plaque carved in low relief with an image of a female dancer, surrounded by a frame of repeated geometric patterning. The plaque is carved on one side, suggesting that it is not a fragment of a comb, but more likely created as an inlay for a larger object such as a box or other furnishing.
