    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Square tile, glazed buff-colored earthenware with transfer-printed decoration in black. Pattern comprises diagonal bands at each corner, set with 1/4 stylized sunburst; central field is irregular octagon in shape and is scattered with various floral sprigs. CONDITION: Glaze crazed and discolored. Chip to upper left corner; two chips along right front edge; various chips on rear edges. Old mortar attached.
