    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Polychrome bowl with straight flaring walls and decorated with two images of the Maize God sitting with his arms outstretched, a pose that is said to represent birth. The vessel is also decorated with two ears of corn. The band of circles at the base may refer to water, which is often a symbol of the underworld. Condition: Good; some paint loss.
