    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Rectangular flat hot plate with chamfered corners. Front design impressed with central scene depicting Brooklyn Bridge waterfront and seven surrounding figures set into textured background. Additional figures clockwise from top: Administration Building (labeled "ADMINISTRATION BLDG" below image), ocean liner, U.S. Steel Building (labeled "U.S. STEEL BLDG" below image), motorcars, railway car, Hall of Communications (labeled "HALL OF COMMUNICATIONS" below image), airplane. At bottom center, large scroll reading "NEW YORK WORLD'S FAIR". Slightly raised undecorated outer edge wraps to back and is secured by brown cardboard backing of the same shape. Condition: Good original. Loss to metallic surface and denting to outer edging, scratching, light chipping and tarnishing throughout.
