MARKINGS
Impressed on underside, from top to bottom:
(1) partially impressed stamp with "AUSTIN" in arching banner, decorative foliate flourishes at ends of banner.
(2) row of 4 small square hallmarks containing, from left to right: "[N].A"; seated allegorical figure; bird in profile; head of a dragon (?).

CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
Round, shallow pewter plate with wide rim that curves upward slightly at edge; incised line around center and around rim near edge.
CONDITION: Fair; badly tarnished; allover scratches and some pitting; several small dark spots of discoloration (corrosion?) around edge and in center.
