CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
Upholstered in leather. French provincial style. Rounded barrel back with arms sloping in continuous downward movement from back and terminating in boldly articulated knuckles upholstered over on leather. Has checkered woven seat and back, red and green interwoven cotton strapping. Back and sides stitched; threads exposed. Drop-in seat cushion also upholstered in leather; with buttons. Front seat rail of wood; slightly bowed. Front legs square in section; outsides slightly curved; inner sides undulated with widest point at juncture of flat, shaped front stretcher. Side and rear stretchers plain; rectangular. Each chair leg has a metal caster.
CONDITION - Good, right rear leg replacement; plastic wood added; wood considerably worm eaten; upholstery good.
