Catalogue Description:
The animal is represented standing atop a circular base. A pattern of diagonal cross-hatched lines is incised on each side of the body to render the creature's spines. On the creature's back the spine is rendered by an incised line pattern of squares with some of the squares marked by an incised dot. Condition: Some small scratches, probably original to the piece; otherwise excellent.
