Catalogue Description: Alabaster canopic jar and stopper. A) jar with broad shoulder. on the body are four columns of text, executed in plain-incised relief and incised lines, containing the partial remains of blue frit inlays. The stopper is human-headed and wears a heavy wig. The fact that it is human-headed raises the question as to whether or not it was originally made for this vessel because, with an inscription to Hapy, one would normally expect an ape-headed lid. Condition: chipped and incrusted.
