Catalogue Description:
White, hard paste porcelain cup (a) and saucer (b) with vitreous glaze. Cup is Chinese shape (ovoid with irregular bulging section at side with handle); handle is disk with molded flower and pierced hole in center, attached to body with curved struts; impressed band of circle and diamond geometric pattern around top of cup; in sections flanking handle, tiny pierced holes in grid pattern. Round, very shallow saucer with rim extended into three lobes forming handle with molded and pierced decorations of flower and grid pattern; band of leaves around rest of rim. CONDITION: Good; few tiny nicks around rime of saucer.
