Catalogue Description:
Sugar shell, silver-plate. Rectangular bowl with out-curving sides and sunburst motif from center of bowl two sides only. Handle begins with smooth transition from bowl then narrows forming short neck. Narrow section of handle marked by small triangle against small striations at beginning and end. Scrolling silhouette broadens to long rectangular end section of handle divided into three areas. In crest at top is narrow area with bamboo shoot against a cracked ice pattern. Below is a square empty field intended for initials. Largest area contains a full-front flower with large leafy stem against cracked ice pattern. Reverse decorated with two small triangles against striations. Croyden Pattern. CONDITION - Minor wear; plate very bright.
