Catalogue Description:
Pilgrim bottle dark blue glazed vase with gilt decoration. Dark blue pilgrim vase with short neck and at shoulders, mirrored entwined snake handles resting on the top of a female mask with drapery, snake scales and eyes in gold and gold highlights to female mask; main body with gilt decoration of a dragon fly in flight and flowers (catkins), on reverse, smaller floral spray in gilt. The whole on four vertical and squared feet with a raised 'H' design, highlighted in gold paint on the feet.
