Catalogue Description:
Chordophone in three pieces. The bottom piece (a.) is a gourd or calabash half which is placed against the belly as a resonator. It is joined to the wooden bow ( c.) on which the strings would be strung by a calabash section( b.) which is notched at the top to hold the wooden bow.Wooden lute gourd resonater. Condition: Gourd cracked, piece broken out.
