Catalogue Description:
Very narrow limestone fragment with only a very minute portion of the face preserved. On this is the entire face, neck and shoulders of a very fine, though minute portrait of Akhenaton. Directly in front of his face is an ankh which was apparently held in the hand of one of the sun's rays, the upper portion of the head is missing. Condition: Preserved portion is in good condition, remainder entirely chipped.
