Catalogue Description:
Candlestick (a) with detachable bobeche (b). Candlestick (a) stands on a square foot with applied, die-rolled, garooned band at edge, stepped dome rising to baluster stem with four shallow flutes; urn-shaped candle socket into which fit the bobeches. Detachable bobeche (b) is square with applied, die-rolled, garooned border; dished in the center around socket. Condition: Two dents on lower shoulder of socket, proper right rear; small dent on lower stem below this. One corner of bobeche bent slightly downward. Otherwise, normal wear and scratches.
