Catalogue Description:
Oval with convex bouge and applied, die-rolled band at rim, the latter made up of stylized acanthus leaves. The tray sits on four cast, applied feet in the form of bunches of grapes with grape leaves and vines at the junctures with the tray. Center of tray is engraved with rococo style scrollwork surrounding, at each end, a diamond shaped reserve filled with diaper pattern. A central reserve with inscription. Above this is a cartouche containing a landscape view with an Italianate villa and a bridge. Below is a cartouche containing engraving of a Hudson River packet boat flying the American flag
