Catalogue Description:
Round frosted pressed glass plate with serrated rim. In the center of the plate, there is a bust portrait of James A. Garfield surrounded by stars and memorial inscriptions ("WE MOURN OUR NATION'S LOSS" and "BORN NOV 19 1831 / SHOT JULY 2 1881 / DIED SEP 19 1881"). This central section is framed by a continuous swag of flowered drapery.
