Catalogue Description:
Soft limestone group of seated monkey with hands to mouth and, in front, a smaller monkey in same pose. Compact, pyramidal composition, rough work. Bodies painted light green, flesh dark red, eyes black with scattered circles of red paint on bodies. Belt and collar painted on larger monkey. Condition: Intact. Some paint worn.
