| Description | "Rumidor" tobacco jar (a) with lid (b), enameled metal. Cylindrical jar of white metal has embossed ridge at base, gold colored; body is drab green and rises to embossed rim in gold; bottom covered in green felt. Lid fits over body; bottom edge of lid is gold ridge, then there is a narrow band of ivory enamel and another gold ridge. Gold cover rises in three steps. Inside of lid is fitted with rotating cylinder with round holes and a V-shaped cut. CONDITION: Good with minor abrasions. |
