Description Silver-plate berry spoon with a large bowl with elongated scallops along 3/4 of one side of bowl and along 1/4 of other side. Decoration begins at base of handle with truncated acanthus leaf topped by vertical row of twelve convex ovals tightly spaced that ends just below mid-point, topped by mirror image truncated acanthus leaf. Sides of handle flare from mid-point and culminate in nearly flat crest with rounded shoulders. Symmetrical leaf and scroll motif against stippled ground fills most of end of handle with balance undecorated (intended for initials). Reverse undecorated. Cardinal Pattern. CONDITION - Very good original condition; plate bright; minor scratching due to normal wear.
