Description Tea urn (a) with lid (b). Urn is flattened globular vessel with leaf and flower motif gardening at top. Bamboo styled spigot protruding from bottom front, back is engraved with crest and motto of Douglas of Castle-Douglas Bart. Lion ring handles, urn suspended on four thin slightly curved legs ending in lion's paw feet. Base curved square base center hole for lamp and supported on four ball feet. Lid is raised, circular and surmounted by a shaped wild rose finial. CONDITION: Good, minor scratches.
