- Catalogue Description: Pewter sugar bowl (a) and lid (b), with caning. Bowl has ovoid body raised on foot ring; straight sides; two opposing squared handles, grips wrapped in caning strips. Flat conforming lid with U-shaped cut out at one side to accommodate spoon; handle formed with two slightly splayed struts that support an arching grip wrapped in caning. Condition: Good; light scratches overall and some spotting; caning is loose in some places.
