Since 1980, Brooklyn-born photographer Jamel Shabazz has created enduring images of style, community, and joy throughout the five boroughs, and he is particularly recognized for his documentation of Brooklyn. Take a close look at his new installation Faces and Places, 1980–2023 in this intimate outdoor conversation between the artist and curator Drew Sawyer.
