The concert starts with several movements from William Walton’s orchestral suite based on his 1922 Façade, an Entertainment, written to accompany the poetry of Edith Sitwell. Then enjoy an Italian take on Brazil—Ottorino Respighi’s Brazilian Impressions—a gem of a descriptive piece. Finish up with George Gershwin's classic ballet music An American in Paris.
Tickets are $10 for Museum Members; $20 for non-Members. Tickets available at brooklynsymphonyorchestra.org.
