Creativity Lab

Sunday, November 11, 2018

4–5:30 pm

Martha A. and Robert S. Rubin Pavilion, 1st Floor

Welcome to the Lab! In this special edition of Creativity Lab, collaborate with Peruvian artist and educator Francesca Rodriguez Sawaya on a project inspired by Cecilia Vicuña: Disappeared Quipu. Learn about the quipu, a way of recording information used by different Andean cultures in the shape of physical knots, and create collaborative hand weavings to preserve our own stories in physical form.

This workshop has two sessions, at 4 and 4:45 pm, for ages 6 and up. Additional activities are available for all ages.

Free with Museum admission. For all ages.
