Intern Convening

Friday, August 5, 2022

9:30 am–5:30 pm

Auditorium, Beaux-Arts Court, the Forum, and galleries throughout the Museum

Calling all interns and emerging professionals in the arts! Join us for a full day of in-person programming that explores the role of museums and how those at the beginning of their careers can shape the field. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in conversations with leaders in the field, engage in art experiences in our galleries, and attend career workshops including one-on-one mock interviews.

We’ll kick off the convening with a keynote address and panel discussion, followed by breakout sessions in the galleries. The day will conclude with a networking reception with professionals from the Brooklyn Museum and other New York arts institutions.

This program is free, and participants must register in advance.

This series is made possible by generous support from the Citi Foundation.
