Marathon Reading: "Let America Be America Again"

Friday, January 20, 2017, 11 am–6 pm

Where do we draw our strength in the wake of great change? Join artists, writers, performers, activists, and community members for a daylong reading of Langston Hughes’s prescient 1935 poem "Let America Be America Again." We invite you to use the Brooklyn Museum today, and always, as a source of inspiration, reflection, community building, wonder, and magic.

Free and open to the public. All are welcome. Readings take place every 30 minutes between 11 am and 6 pm.
