Community Committee Staten Island Tour

On Wednesday, June 9, the Community Committee of the Brooklyn Museum will sponsor a guided tour by luxury bus of some of the cultural, artistic, and historical sites of Staten Island. Led by Larry Ambrosino, executive director of SINY, the tour will visit the Jacques Marchais Museum of Tibetan Art; the Alice Austen House, historic home of one of America’s first female photographers; and the Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanic Garden, which includes the New York Chinese Scholar’s Garden. The tour will stop for lunch at Lorenzo’s Restaurant at the Hilton Garden Inn.

The chartered bus will leave the Brooklyn Museum’s parking lot promptly at 9 a.m. and will return by 5 p.m. As seating is limited, a response by May 24 is recommended. The cost of the tour including lunch is $110 for Museum Members and $125 for non-Members.
