(David Redmon and Ashley Sabin, 2011, 78 min.) follows Ashley, an American model scout, and Nadya, a 13-year-old aspiring model from a remote Siberian village, as they navigate the global modeling industry. A panel discussion with the filmmakers follows the screening. Panelists include Rachel Blais, a model featured in the film; filmmaker Nancy Schwartzman; Paula Viola, a litigation associate and former model; and Sara Ziff, founder and director of the Model Alliance. Presented in partnership with the PBS documentary series POV.
